Toon Blast Revenue
I have analyzed the industry reports and market analysis of Toon Blast and have broken down my findings. Here we go!
How was Toon Blast Acquired?
Since its launch in 2015, Toon Blast has undergone two acquisitions. First, Zynga, the publisher of CSR Racing and Words with Friends acquired Toon Blast for $1.8 billion.
The company made a $900 million payment in cash and balanced the remaining $900 in common stock. This acquisition was major because Zynga perceived Peak Games as a ‘forever franchise’.
It was also an effort to increase the company’s game pipeline with passionate projects that are still in the early stages of development.
This acquisition happened in May 2020 with Frank Gibeau, the Chief Executive of Zynga emphasizing how excited the company was to have the world’s best puzzle game added to their company.
However, the acquisition had Peak Games maintain its unique creative culture and brand identity.
Two years after Zynga’s acquisition, Take-Two Interactive came into the picture, acquiring Zynga for $12.7 billion. This happened in May 2022.
The acquisition had Zynga stockholders receive $3.50 billion in cash while 0.0406 shares of Take-Two common stock were distributed among them.
The next question we need to answer now is, since Take Two’s acquisition, how much is the game worth presently?
